At Kilkenny Limestone we’re looking for an Estimator.
Responsibilities:
Estimator to take all enquiries from start to finish, be able to understand schematics;
Be able to quantify and itemise materials off drawings;
Capable of creating BOQs from minimal information and generating details and proposals;
Candidate will be expected to handle multiple projects at a time and schedule in deadlines, make decisions, self-perform, liaise with vendors and clients alike;
Carefully reviewing Tender documents to ensure their completeness, and actively participating in bid initiation;
Coordinating and preparing bids, engaging with various suppliers, sub-contractors, and 3rd parties, including equipment supply proposals;
Compiling supporting proposal documentation, such as technical proposals, equipment selection information, project delivery & management plans, and preliminary project programmes;
Demonstrating an organized approach to deliver tender proposals within stringent timelines;
Assisting in program planning, analysis, and updates.
Requirements:
Good reporting and communication skills essential;
Excellent IT skills required;
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy;
Be flexible in respect of shift changes and to participate in the maintenance procedure as required;
Responds positively to changing circumstances and priorities;
Strong team player;
High level of organisational and multi-tasking skills.
