Quarry Supervisor

· Ensure compliance with all relevant HSA legislation;

· Ensure compliance with Company health and safety systems / standards and best practices;

· Ensure that all work undertaken in the quarry is risk assessed and safe;

· Ensure that all accidents and incidents are reported, and fully investigated and corrective action taken as necessary;

· Ensuring that the quarry operates in the scope of any planning conditions;

· Supervision of General Operatives within the quarry;

· Labelling of blocks for Production;

· Quality control and stock control of blocks;

· Provide support to the Quarries Manager;

· Conscious of quarry cost management.

· Experience in Quarry operations, and mobile heavy plant operations;

· Good people management skills to lead, guide and motivate quarry General Operatives;

· Awareness of cost control and operation efficiencies;

· Strong knowledge, experience and application of Health and Safety practices;

· Computer skills also required.
