Transportplanner

You are responsible for route planning of all internal and external transport (organizing deliveries and pick-ups from customers) in close connection with the logistics manager;

You adapt orders insofar as the info is transport and/or logistics related;

You receive your own drivers and provide them with the necessary documents in the morning and in the evening;

You welcome customers who come to pick up orders, communicate with logistics and take care of the administrative handling upon arrival and departure of the customer;

You are the contact of the (inter)national drivers at pickups or deliveries and manage their documents;

You process the various transport documents in our ERP Package (current is Dynamics Navision);

You answer telephone calls from customers regarding pickups and deliveries;

You inform customers and the various internal departments transparently and smoothly;

You monitor a periodic post-calculation of transport costs according to the region;

You have a strong personality: you are resilient, with integrity and can work well independently;

You followed a relevant education or equivalent experience within logistics;

You preferably have experience in planning different types of transport;

You are familiar with the legislation concerning road transport (driving and resting times) and have a good knowledge of the Benelux geography + France;

You have strong communication skills in Dutch, French and English. Knowledge of other languages is a plus;

You are service-oriented and work in an orderly and structured way;

You can work smoothly with the computer, knowledge of Dynamics Navision is a plus;

You are a spontaneous person who always welcomes customers and drivers with a smile;

You can multitask very well, which makes the combination of receiving customers/drivers, telephony, mail traffic and administrative tasks very smooth for you;
