    Finishes

    3/3 selected
Arenado: A rough, fine-grained look and feel due to small impacts of tiny particles that are catapulted onto the surface at high speed. Gives the surface a very rough and natural feel, ideal for decorative and outdoor applications.
Arenado & Tumbled: A unique double finishing process developed by Brachot. First, the Arenado treatment gives the surface a rough, finely grained texture created by the high-speed impact of tiny particles. Afterwards, the material is tumbled, softening the edges and enhancing its aged, natural character. The result is a very rough yet authentic look and feel, ideal for decorative and outdoor applications.
Sawn - Diamond Cut: Pure, untreated finish for the slab or tile the way it looks after the natural stone block has been sawn. The type of saw determines whether parallel grooves or circular marks can be seen. Mainly used for outdoor applications.

Muschelkalk Mooser: The Muschelkalk With A Character Of Its Own

Not all Muschelkalk is the same. Muschelkalk Mooser is quarried from a specific layer of the German Mooser quarry and that origin shows in the material. Muschelkalk Mooser has a distinctly warm, bronze-toned colour that sets it apart from other varieties on the market. That mix of brown and grey tones is unique to this material and cannot be found in comparable limestones.

Brachot sources Muschelkalk Mooser directly at the quarry, purchasing raw blocks that are then sawn in-house into slabs and tiles. That direct control over the full production chain is what makes custom sizing possible: from cobblestones and standard tiles to large-format slabs for bespoke interior elements. Blocks can be sawn to any thickness, and because all formats come from the same block, the result is a visually coherent whole across a project.

The material requires careful handling, and processing it correctly requires expertise. Brachot has built up that knowledge over decades. The most popular finish is Arenado, which gives the surface a rough, natural texture. Sensato is the alternative for a more refined result.

Muschelkalk Mooser sits in a high-end price category. For clients looking for a distinctive limestone with a warm character, custom formats, and a reliable processing partner, it is the right choice.
