Belvedere: black quartzite with white to gold veining
Belvedere is a quartzite from Angola with a deep black base, crossed by irregular white to gold veins. Its marble-like patterning allows for striking bookmatched installations, giving every application its own signature. No two slabs are identical.
As a quartzite, Belvedere is generally harder than granite. The material is scratch and heat resistant and has low water absorption, making it suitable for intensive use. Belvedere combines the look of a veined marble with the technical performance of a quartzite.
Belvedere performs best in applications where the veining can take centre stage: kitchen worktops and islands, wall cladding, flooring, bathroom tops, fireplace surrounds, table tops and custom furniture. Combined with brass, wood or dark interiors, the gold veining reinforces the contrast.
Brachot offers Belvedere in two standard finishes: polished, for maximum gloss and colour depth, and letano, a matte finish with a leather touch that underlines the natural colour. Other finishes are available on request.
