    Finishes

    3/3 selected
Anzano: A somewhat rougher finish, compared to matt or polished finishes, that nonetheless has an especially pleasant feel.
Flamed: The temperature shock after flaming the tile leads to natural cracking on the surface. This gives the natural stone a rough texture. Ideal for outdoor applications thanks to its anti-slip properties.
Honed: The surface of the natural stone is scoured until a warm, matt shine is obtained. The grain used for scouring determines the result obtained. Suitable for countless interior applications.

Belfast Extra: uniform deep black fine-grained granite

Belfast Extra is a uniform deep black, very fine-grained granite without any clouding. Thanks to its even colour, the absence of light spots or reflectors and the lack of pitting, the surface forms a calm, closed whole. Unlike Zimbabwe Black, which is characterised by a slightly clouded pattern with fine dark grey speckles, Belfast Extra looks completely flat and consistent in colour.

Belfast Extra is supplied untreated in a letano, honed, flamed or polished finish. Because the stone shows no pitting, resining is not necessary. In the anzano finish the material may be treated.

Thanks to its uniform black colour and closed surface, Belfast Extra is a popular choice for headstones and monuments, where a constant, uninterrupted black tone is decisive.
