    Finishes

    3/3 selected
Flamed: The temperature shock after flaming the tile leads to natural cracking on the surface. This gives the natural stone a rough texture. Ideal for outdoor applications thanks to its anti-slip properties.
Letano: The natural colour of the granite is given extra emphasis with this original, matt finish. A ‘leather touch’ feel is created.
Polished: The shiniest and smoothest finish by far, which presents the colours, veins and fossil structures at their most visible and intense. A mirror effect is created in dark shades.

Brown granite with a blue soul

Blue Antique® is a coarse-grained granite from the Hellvik deposit near Egersund, Norway, and forms part of the Larvik Granite family. Where the rest of the Larvik range reads blue, grey or green, Blue Antique® stands apart with its warm brown base and the blue and turquoise pearlescent reflections that move across the surface. This optical play comes from the Schiller effect: large feldspar crystals catch and scatter light, so the stone shifts in appearance as you change your viewing angle.

The dense, colourful pattern is as practical as it is striking. Fingerprints, water marks and everyday traces are far less visible on a multi-toned surface than on a single-colour stone, which makes Blue Antique® a forgiving choice for kitchen worktops and high-traffic flooring. Because the crystals and colouring are strong and evenly spread, the material can be cut in any direction, and first-choice surfaces can be drawn from second and third-choice blocks.

Black mineral concentrations and brown or green veins may occur across the surface. These formed as the stone crystallised and carry no technical disadvantage; they are part of the character of the material. Blue Antique® performs indoors and outdoors, from bathrooms and fireplaces to patios and façade cladding. It is also a strong choice for paving: alongside slabs, we supply Blue Antique® as setts and kerbs, bringing its warm colour and frost resistance to driveways, public spaces and landscaping projects.
