Branco Piracema: granite with a fan-shaped signature
Branco Piracema is a granite from Minas Gerais, Brazil, named after the Piracema River where it is quarried. The stone has a predominantly white-grey-green ground with recurring pink tones and a moderate coarse grain size. Its most distinctive feature is the fan-shaped black structures that appear throughout the slab, giving each piece a bold, directional character that sets it apart from more uniform granites.
The compact, dense composition makes Branco Piracema highly resistant to mechanical stress, temperature fluctuations, and surface wear. Available in polished and leathered finishes, it is suited for kitchen worktops, interior flooring, wall cladding, stair treads, window sills, bathroom surfaces, fireplaces, and decorative interior applications.
As with all natural stone, colour and patterning vary between slabs, with some pieces showing stronger pink tones or additional grey veining.
Why choose Branco Piracema?
- Distinctive fan-shaped black structures in a white-grey-green ground
- Pink tonal variation adds depth and warmth
- Compact, dense granite with high resistance to wear and impact
- Available in polished and leathered finishes
