Crema Bramos: limestone with a clouded character from Porto de Mós

Crema Bramos is a sedimentary limestone from the region around Porto de Mós, Portugal, one of the country's leading limestone areas. The background ranges from medium to dark beige, with scattered dark speckles and a clouded, almost misty structure that gives every slab its own character. This natural patterning, together with the fossils and stylolitic veins present, is inherent to the formation of the stone and adds to its authentic appearance.

Crema Bramos is available in a honed finish, which lets the colour and texture of the stone speak softly and with a matte appearance. The material is well suited to indoor applications such as bathrooms, wall cladding, decorative applications, fireplaces, interior flooring, stairs, and window sills. Crema Bramos can also be used as a kitchen worktop or in shower areas, although the stone is more susceptible to staining and discolouring in these applications. Outdoors, Crema Bramos is mainly used for facade cladding and door and window surrounds.
