Tinos Green: deep green marble from the Greek island of Tinos

Tinos Green is a deep green marble from a quarry on the Greek island of Tinos, in the Cyclades on the edge of the Aegean Sea. This decorative marble has been quarried on the island for more than 5,000 years. The stone combines a dark green base with a network of white and light green veins, giving it a distinctive, lively character.

Tinos Green is at its best in applications where the veining stays visible: wall cladding, vanity tops, fireplace surrounds, table and furniture tops, and indoor flooring. Paired with brass, white or warm wood, the green gains extra depth.

Brachot supplies Tinos Green in a polished finish, which brings out the colour and veining most strongly. Other finishes are available on request.
