Wiskont White: Indian granite with a flame-like pattern

Wiskont White is an Indian granite from Tamil Nadu, also known as Viscount White. The material stands out for its strong flame-like pattern: a shifting play of lighter and darker areas, veins and mineral concentrations that varies from block to block and even from slab to slab. No two slabs are identical, giving Wiskont White a distinctly natural character.

Black and white mineral concentrations may appear in the surface, sometimes with a greyer or pinkish tone. Lighter and darker veins are also part of the normal appearance of this metamorphic granite. These features are no technical drawback and simply confirm the authentic origin of the stone.

Wiskont White is available as standard in a polished finish and on request also in a letano finish. The material is suitable for both interior and exterior applications: from kitchen worktops, window sills and floors to facade cladding, patios, paving and thresholds.

Polished pieces are usually resined to fill fine hairline cracks and surface pores, improving the polished shine. Due to the strong heterogeneity of this material, it is best to select your slab in our Stone Galleries or check the live stock on the website, so the pattern and colour match your expectations.
