Certified Origin. Proven Performance.
Rose de la Clarté granite has been quarried from the Ploumanac'h basin near Perros-Guirec in Brittany since 1976, a region with centuries of granite extraction history. The coarse-grained red-pink stone is quarried in a sustainable and responsible manner, then processed into slabs, tiles, paving products, and monument work.
Rose de la Clarté carries the IG (Indication Géographique) Granit de Bretagne certification, awarded by independent certification body Certipaq. This regional accreditation applies to all our Brittany quarries and recognises both the stone's origin and the craftsmanship behind its extraction.
The granite's technical properties make it particularly well suited for external paving applications. Its low porosity and high compressive strength deliver lasting structural performance, and its colour stability outperforms alternatives such as porphyry, maintaining its characteristic red-pink tone under prolonged exposure. A material defined by origin, certified quality, and proven durability.
Why Rose de la Clarté?
- Excellent frost resistance of over 240 cycles
- Compressive strength of over 190 MPa (much higher than concrete)
- Suitable for high-traffic urban paving
- Quarried and processed in France, shorter supply chain
- Certified under IG Granit de Bretagne
