Asian Blue, lighter bluestone from Vietnam
Asian Blue is a Vietnamese bluestone with a light, even blue-grey tone and few visible fossils. Subtle variations in colour and structure give the stone its character, and depending on the quarry, the white veining can be more or less pronounced. Fossil fragments are present, but heavily deformed and often difficult to identify.
Asian Blue is only supplied in smaller formats, making it less suitable for worktops and bespoke work. Popular formats include small setts and square tiles with straight or tumbled edges.
Asian Blue is widely used for driveways, garden paths, patios and floors. Popular finishes include antico, tumbled and grounded.
