Kandla Natural Stone: The Authentic Indian Sandstone

Kandla is an Indian sandstone, available in three shades: Grey, White Beige and Ochre. Each variant has its own colour spectrum with the natural nuances characteristic of this material. Brachot is one of the largest importers of Kandla products.

As platines, Kandla combines the authentic look of cobblestones with the comfort of a flat top surface, making it easier to walk on than traditional cobblestones. Suitable for driveways, garden paths, patios and opus incertum patios, but also for steps, low walls and palisades as edging for planting zones.

Brachot is actively involved in TruStone, an initiative of the Flemish and Dutch natural stone industry, governments, NGOs and trade unions committed to responsible production and purchase of natural stone. In Rajasthan, Brachot supports lasting improvements: transparent wage registration, access to drinking water and safe workplaces. In 2025, Brachot participated in a multi-stakeholder dialogue on site, visiting quarries, factories and cobble yards. This dialogue is already bearing fruit: meaningful steps forward have been taken across the supply chain.
